iPhone - 2007

Where it all started:
In 2005, Apple CEO Steve Jobs conceived an idea of using a multi touch screen to interact with a computer in a way in which he could type directly onto the display, essentially removing the physical keyboard and mouse and was codenamed Project Purple 2 and lasted 2 long years to finish.

The original iPhone was introduced by Steve Jobs on January 9, 2007 in a keynote address at the Macworld Conference & Expo held in Moscone West in San Francisco, California. In his address, Jobs said, "I have been looking forward to this for two and a half years", and that "today, Apple is going to reinvent the phone." Jobs introduced the iPhone as a combination of three devices: a "widescreen iPod with touch controls"; a "revolutionary mobile phone"; and a "breakthrough Internet communicator".

Instead, the iPhone 5C uses much of the same internal hardware of its predecessor, the iPhone 5. iPhone X - 2017

The iPhone X features a new 6 core system-on-chip with improved system that has 4 high efficiency cores and two performance cores , improved graphics performance, Neural engine, and updated motion coprocessor. The iPhone X series has a glass back, and a stainless steel bumper. This is also the first iPhone working towards Apple's dream of a sheet of glass you hold in you hand and cant tell where the phone ends. The iPhone X offers a full "bezeless" display minus the "sensor" bar area thats holds all the sensors, speakers and face scanning technology using thousands of IR dots to map your face. The dual camera system has been placed vertically to make room for the sensors. It also has wireless charging (Qi Certified) Fast wireless charging to come later. But does support fast charging with the USB-C MacBook chargers and USB-C to lightning cable. The 2017 iPhones are the first to sport Apples TrueTone display that changes its warmth/coolness based on the environment. Still no headphone jack for those who had hope.
